Once March came around, it was finally time to get my green french done! I went to my nail lady and she did an amazing job, as always! I absolutely love this style, I think it’s one of my favorites to date. Coincidentally, it fell on the month of March, right in time for St. Patrick’s. Matching my nails to holidays isn’t something I really do, but this time around I don’t mind it.
The green tips are the perfect balance between statement and simplicity. The base of the nail is a nude gel color and the green is OPI’s Get Off The Lawn! I wanted a concept that matched my everyday style while being eye catching, and I didn’t want to take away from the tips by adding anything else.
This design was done over dip and the length is my real nail. My nails finally grew out long enough so that I could do the almond shape in a thin and simple manner while having them the length I desired without tips. The dip, if you haven’t heard before, is great in aiding nail growth. My nails have grown and they’re healthy. You won’t see a damaged and brittle nail once the dip is removed, as you often do with gel.
I highly recommend this style. It’s a must in my book and it’s definitely an up-and-coming trend. Give this style a try with your favorite nail color and let me know what you think in the comments.
