Nails of the Week: Big Apple Red

Nails of the week? What? What do you mean of the week?

I get my nails done on an as-needed basis, so depending on the month it will be once or twice. Every time I do them I will be posting my “Nails of the Week”, as well as “Nail Trend”. This week I did them Big Apple Red by OPI, and they came out fabulous with the long almond shape. I will admit, I was a bit in doubt about combining long nails and a strong red shape, but I ended up loving them!

Big Apple Red is one of my favorite shades of red. It is strong and classy, without the loudness. It is a shade I love doing in the winter as well as the summer. I personally pair this shade with a lot of neutral outfits. For the winter I do whites and blacks, and in the summer I do nudes, whites, blacks, and navy. It’s a shade that looks great on all skin tones due to its subtlety, while still drawing in the eye.
