I hope that your week has been amazing and that your inspiration has been flowing. Speaking of inspiration, I am here to share one of the biggest up and coming trends of 2022, green nails. Green nails have been a trending topic this year, and although I know I did a post on my green nails earlier this year, I am here to say that this isn’t just any color green… it’s neon green. I think it’s safe to say that neon green has surpassed emerald green on the list of trending nail colors.
As a major spring color, neon green has made a splash all around, in fashion, in home accessories, and as you know it, on nails. Last year I did a post about not being a huge fan of neon colors, but I couldn’t resist this trend. I had to jump on the trend and roll with it. These nails have definitely made a statement, and everywhere I go, they are eye-catching. If you’re looking for something fresh, fun, and “in-style”, try this trend. I can assure you that your nails won’t go unnoticed.
I absolutely love this shade because it’s not too light nor too dark. The long almond shape complements it by making the combination more eye-catching without being too extreme. Another shape I would go for with this color is the square-rounded shape. It’s clean, simple, with a little cheeky. If you’ve been following my site for a bit now, you know a clean and simple nail look is a must in my book.
This trend is a must for Spring and Summer, but I would not recommend it for the Fall or Winter. I’d opt out for a darker shade of green then. It will go great with most looks, so don’t be too worried about it clashing.
